Synopsis

MOOoove over...  here comes a genuine cattle stampede live on stage!  Villain Mandrake Mothdust and his scheming dancing partner, Trilby Tango, are stranded in the dusty town of Mesa. In fact, it's so hot, the cows are producing evaporated milk. The widow Molly Hopkins runs the trading post with the help of our heroine, Penny Frumheaven. Unless Molly can come up with two hundred dollars, her trading post will be sold. However, Molly discovers Grouchy Backwater, the crankiest man in town, dead with a wallet stuffed with money. Alas, Molly decides to keep the cash, but it only seems to bring trouble her way. For example, Dan deLion, a cattle buyer from Kansas, plans to buy cows that belong to our manly hero, Bronco Bronco. Once Dan puts his money into Molly's safe, our scheming villains plot to get it. Matters really get out of hand when a feisty cattle herd stampedes across the stage!  Ultimately, our villains are crushed and Penny and Bronco head for the altar.  Isadora, the sheriff, Granny Bobaloo, chicken rancher, and Hoot, the bow-legged cowboy are just a few of Mesa's outrageously funny townsfolk.
