Synopsis

A human comedy about the insanity of craziness. William Bends gets caught up in his recollections and spends the day "not quite himself", as he remembers things that happened and many that didn't. The action takes place in an asylum, as seen through the eyes of the bewildered Bends (whose one remaining ambition is to lie on the floor and be a rug).
