Synopsis

Meg Wheeler loves to make up statistics to justify almost everything she does. She even makes up a statistic to convince her parents to let her leave her small town and move to New York City. In fact, her main goal is to find a husband. The trouble is that she is not the only girl with this mindset. She finds herself staying at a boarding house filled with other attractive, single girls eager to find the ideal man. Eventually, Meg is employed by an advertising agency where she decides to marry the boss's younger brother. Trouble ensues when Meg and the boss himself, Miles Doughton, end up falling in love.
